Requirements
- macOS 14.0 or later.
- Universal application: Apple silicon (arm64) and Intel (x86_64).
- Including Intel code does not establish physical Intel runtime testing.

Install
1. Download SoWhaat-0.2.20-12-macOS-universal-direct.dmg.
2. Open the downloaded disk image.
3. Quit any previous running copy of SoWhaat before replacing the application.
4. Drag SoWhaat to Applications, then open SoWhaat from Applications.
5. Sign in with your existing SoWhaat account or create an account in the app.

Trust and integrity
The application uses Developer ID signing by I Seek You Too LLC. Apple
accepted notarization for this exact disk image, and the image has its
notarization ticket stapled. This is a direct package, not a Mac App Store
download or a claim of Mac App Store approval.

If macOS reports the download as unsafe or damaged, stop and contact support.
Keep Gatekeeper enabled. Do not remove quarantine attributes or disable
security software to force an installation.

Alpha limits
Network transport is encrypted, but messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
The current Mac alpha stores session credentials in Apple Keychain and local
message history unencrypted. Removing the application does not necessarily
remove its container or Keychain items. Do not delete these to update the app.

This direct-download version is independent of the Mac App Store release.
