SoWhaat is the official public name of the independent messenger previously
presented as ICQ2. This is an early native Windows 10/11 alpha for informed
testers, not a stable release.

WHAT IS NEW IN 0.2.06a

- Adopts SoWhaat as the Windows client's public name while retaining only the
  internal identifiers needed to preserve upgrades, credentials, protected
  history, saved Preferences and protocol compatibility.
- Installs the approved smooth green-flower application icon across the
  executable, taskbar, shortcuts, Setup and uninstall surfaces.
- Defaults fresh installs to Program Files\ICQ2 SoWhaat, keeps the desktop
  shortcut off, supports reversible per-user autostart and offers to launch
  SoWhaat when Setup finishes.
- Makes the original pointed-flower SoWhaat status family the default and
  offers Old style legacy as a local per-UIN option.
- Adds original SoWhaat phone and birthday badges, a dedicated Shortcuts page,
  Ctrl+Enter sending, Ctrl+S status selection and aggregate taskbar unread
  counts.
- Relaunches the exact installed newer client after a successful signed update
  while keeping cancellation, invalid signatures and installer failures closed.
- Removes legacy artwork from About and identifies the publisher as
  I Seek You Too LLC, OK (USA).

SIGNED WINDOWS RELEASE

The Setup executable is Authenticode-signed by I Seek You Too LLC. Windows
should display that publisher. Do not run the file if the signature is missing,
invalid, or names a different publisher.

Before running the download, compare its SHA-256 value with
SoWhaat-0.2.06a-SHA256SUMS.txt on the official site.

Setup requests administrator rights to install under Program Files. Existing
installations retain their selected destination and optional components. User
accounts, protected history, saved Preferences and credentials are kept outside
the installation directory.

Transport is protected by TLS, but this alpha is not end-to-end encrypted. The
service can process message contents. Do not use it for sensitive information.

Registration is open and requires verification of the private login e-mail
address. The login e-mail is never published in the user profile.
